1 Peter 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into A LIVING HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..."
Lately God has been showing me that my hope is alive. My hope is Jesus Christ, and so many times I have forgotten that He is alive and powerful. I'm flawed and sometimes forget His power. I confess, I doubt and deny His strength at times. It is so easy to think that He just died for our sins and forget the resurrection and the "alive" part. He's not dead, He's surely alive. He has given me a new life (birth) into this living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I think that sums it up.
1 Peter 1:8-9 "You love Him, though you have not seen Him. And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy, because you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
This is joy, hope, love, and faith that is living.
