Something New

So I'm going to be doing something a bit out of the norm for my blog. We'll see how it goes. I plan on posting a different art project that I've worked on every so often. They will be open for viewing for your enjoyment or for purchase if you are local.

Yes God is the most important thing to me, but I thought I'd mix things up and share another important side of me. The artist. God has given me abilities and talents and my desire is to share them and inspire others to get in touch with their inner artist. It doesn't have to be the best looking thing either. As long as you are having a good time creating it. We are created by the creator, and we are created in his image. Therefore I believe we were created to be crafty whether that means being an architect, building bunk beds, practicing calligraphy or even something as simple as poetry. So check it out! Give it a go!

Here's a T-shirt that my cousin and I designed for a ministry my aunt and I started last year. Everything we made and sold at the tea went straight toward my trip to Baltimore. I still have a few of these babies left. They are 25$ and 5$ of the proceeds will go to "Matts House Outreach "No One Left Behind" Team If you interested for yourself or others let me know your size and I'll see what I have left.

A little about the ministry. Radical Love was an idea my aunt came up with early last year. She believed that God wanted her to use her gifts and talents to spread His radical love with those around her and even people she's never met. She asked me to be a part of it and after prayer we both began to create. We designed shirts, made cards, magnets, wooden things, key chains, and a few other things I can't remember right now. We bought things out of our own pockets and gave what we made to a cause. We enjoyed doing this because it was fun for us to be artistic and give back. Romans 5:8 was chosen by me which says, "God demonstrates His love to us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Now that's what I call radical love. Although we haven't really sold anything lately I still like to create. Sometimes I give things for free and others I can use the money toward gas or another need. Please, please let me know if you have a cause or ministry, whether your own or anothers, that we can sell things and raise funds for. This is our heart: One ministry helping another. Take care!
