Psalm 108:12&13
"Oh give us help against the adversary, for deliverance by man is in vain. Through God we will do valiantly, and it is He who shall tread down our adversaries."
Christians are the number one target of satan. He will do everything in his power to keep us distant from God through sins as simple as ungodliness and pride. He attacks us in any way possible which is why the Psalmist ask God to keep his heart steadfast. Hands down the greatest adversary a Christian can have is satan alone. No man can deliver us from him except Christ. When it seemed as if Satan conquered the Godman by death and burial, Christ overcame through the resurrection from the grave. Many of us struggle with being overwhelmed by life's circumstances as Christ was in the garden. However, as a believer we must learn and acknowledge that deliverance is through God alone. It is not our job to try and stomp on satan , but our utter reliance upon Him to bring down our adversary. When satan attacks we can live in peace knowing Gods got our back when we call upon His name. It is through God we will do valiantly. Not in and of ourselves. Complete dependence upon Him is our number one necessity.
